Retinal vessel analysis in cardiovascular prevention
Fri 07 Apr 12:45 - 13:45 Imaging Satellite Symposium Conference room 1.4 - 1.6 -
Chairpersons: Henner HANSSEN (Basel, Switzerland), Paul LEESON (Oxford, United Kingdom)
Subtitle: Sponsored by Imedos Systems UG
Learning Objectives: The Satellite Symposium gives an introduction and perspectives to the method and application of retinal vessel imaging in cardiovascular prevention. Static and dynamic retinal vessel analysis are diagnostic tools to optimize cardiovascular risk screening and therapy guidance in chronic vascular and metabolic disease. It gives an overview on imaging microvascular structure and function and demonstrates its clinical use and relevance. Current Data from large cohort studies are presented.
