Please note that this programme is subject to modifications and will be updated
on a weekly basis. "Last minute changes" are marked with a "*".
The scientific programme of EUROPACE 2009 includes state of the art lectures, main sessions
and meet the expert sessions. In addition new session formats will be introduced, the so called
"Pre-taped" and "Flash" sessions. We hope that both formats will stimulate the discussion with
the audience and further improve the communication between scientists and clinicians.
Cardiostim sessions
sessions organised by Cardiostim as part of the new cooperation between EHRA and Cardiostim.
"Pre-Taped" sessions
video-taped sessions, different procedures are highlighted based on a video-taped case study.
"Flash" sessions
15 highlighted posters will be presented during a special 90 minute session.
We hope that both formats will stimulate the discussion with the audience and
further improve the communication between scientists and clinicians.

Working closely with our Industry Partners in the field of arrhythmias and cardiac pacing,
EUROPACE 2009 will reach the highest standards of scientific sessions and education dealing
with rhythm management, from basic research to bedside and health politics, in order to
improve the care given to patients suffering from cardiac arrhythmias.
A showcase of the latest developments from Industry, professional associations and other
organisations focused on rhythm management will take place within the Congress in the form
of Satellite Symposia.
The full content of these programmes will soon be made available.
